FuelTech Training!

We recently spent a week immersed in the world of race car engineering at FuelTech USA. Throughout the program, we learned a lot about wiring, installation, and tuning using the FuelTech system. It was an invaluable experience that broadened our understanding and expertise in maximizing performance on the track. The people at FuelTech were extremely friendly and helpful in explaining the benefits of using their system, and we are excited to bring this knowledge to our CDRC customers who want to take advantage of everything FuelTech has to offer!

Aleshire, Duncan, CDRC Corvette are the 2018 MWPMS World Champions

Coming into this past weekend at the Texas Motorplex, there were almost too many things on tap to follow. It was going to be a race within a race, when the Mid-West Pro Mod Series had to contest their final race of the year within the highlight event being held, that being the Elite 16. World Championship.

Jonas Aleshire and the Chris Duncan Race Cars – Miramichi Dragway Corvette headed into the final event of the 2018 the Mid-West Pro Mod Series in the number three position of the points roster. The final race proved to be a very action filled weekend with both the rained out Throwdown in T-Town last month at Tulsa was combined with the final Elite 16 competition at the Texas Motorplex. Aleshire waded through the qualifying and eliminations to win the first makeup race thus locking the team the championship.

New Floyd Plymale Camaro Under Wraps

One of the latest projects at CDRC include Floyd Plymale’s new street legal 2018 Chevrolet Camaro.
The Duncan shop is installing an SFI 25.3 chassis behind the OEM front suspension area.
With the OEM body and paint carefully preserved under wraps, the new car is designed for Hot Rod Drag Week competition. It will handle a twin 76mm-turbo LS engine combination rated at 1,800 horsepower… and let’s not forget the stock-appearing dash and functioning air conditioning!
The Camaro will use a CDRC fabricated 9″ differential and double-adjustable CDRC 4-link rear suspension. Watch for future images of the custom CDRC interior and lexan window installation.

Tommy Cunningham now owns and drives this GT 500 formerly campaigned by Galot Motorsports. Tommy is new to a screw blower and the Bruno Lenco combo so this is the first outing with the car here this weekend. The car is tuned by Chris Duncan and Jonas Aleshire with the team based out of Murray, Kentucky and here testing for the Midwest Series Pro Mod class.

Tommy says on his Facebook page –  “The guys at CDRC have hammered out a ton of finishing touches this week. Now they will have to beat the driver into shape over the first couple of races. Can’t wait.”

Adam Flamholc: 3.83 ET Right Off of the Trailer

“Adam Flamholc received delivery of his Corvette this week here in Bradenton fresh from Chris Duncan Race Cars pulling a 3.83 on his first pass. A hung throttle had Adam just a few feet in the sand yesterday but no major damage was done. The team is using this as a test weekend and just concentrating on getting the car right, not worrying about the race itself. “I’m happy, the first run down the track we went an .83, the guys at Chris Duncan Race Cars built me a super car, so far so good.” Adam Flamholc. He sits in fourteenth going into round one.”
